How do UTV stators work?
A UTV stator consists of a steel core wrapped in high temperature insulated wire. It is mounted such that magnetic flywheel attached to the motor's crankshaft spins around it, generating electric current in the wire windings. Due to the nature of this type of system, the UTV stator produces significantly more power with engine RPM. The faster the flywheel spins, the higher the stator's power output up to its peak by 6000 RPM. UTVs are popular vehicles to add electrical accessories including stereos, lights, radios and more. RMSTATOR designs UTV stators to handle the stress of off-road use and to stand up to the increased power demands of aftermarket electrical accessories.
